First Moves Made! Tension Rises!

-reported by a completely unbiased journalist-

Events of the First Day of Risk:
On September 5, 2019 the Creator established the best and the brightest of the inhabitants of the Global Scholars into small groups. In 32 minutes and 32 seconds countries and governments were formulatedPraise be the Creator. So soon after our creation, territories and tensions were forged.

Here is what you need to know after the first day of Risk on Board A:
The Blue Team holds a significant amount of territory across the board, results of their obvious imperialist history. I ask you now, how did they really gain the land? Are they a team to be morally trusted? Or does their imperialist history showcase their true nature? It is unclear as of now if they will be able to retain their empire, although, their numerous resources and cities are to be envied. We will also be keeping an eye out to see if intergovernmental tensions arise, as they often have in similar empires throughout history.

The Red Team seems to have worked quite cohesively on their first day of Risk With the laws of Risk constantly on their intelligence server, it can be believed that Red will fight their battles ethically. They too are well endowed with resources and cities, however, we saw the unfortunate result of their first battle with Blue as Blue stripped them of one of their Asian holdings. Will they have the strategy and perseverance to fight back?

The Green Team has established their armies in good strategic locations after the first day. We all stand by in anticipation as they wait to make their first move. The question of how they will play the Risk and what their strategy will be remains unclear. The first move, however, will be crucial in answering those questions.

It is clear from the beginning that the Banana Republic has the most cohesive government and advanced society. They hold territory all around the board. Praise the Creator for their BlessingsThe Banana Republic too awaits their first battle, but we can rest easy that they will surely fight valiantly and with intelligence.

Opinions from the Public:

How are you feeling coming out of the first round?
Overall, the Global Scholars inhabitants are bursting with confidence. Inhabits have responded saying they are feeling “Pretty strong” some countries have even left the field of Risk feeling “great!” Will this confidence last? Will the inhabitants be shaken as the battle continues?

How important is winning?
Upon asking this question, I think we see a separation between those who are truly devoted to their causes remarking “winning is incredibly important,” and those that are less devoted giving answers including “My team definitely wants to win, but I think we will be happy with anything”. The question now is how important devotion to our objectives truly are? Is the separation of true commitment and devotion the same separation between those with the capabilities of doing what is necessary to win? Will that separation between devotion mean a separation between those who will battle ethically, and those who cannot be trusted allies?
